Will’s journey into training and fitness began early in life, growing up playing a variety of sports, from hockey and tennis to soccer and golf. His passion for sports continued to evolve as he moved into competitive water skiing, competitive running, rock climbing, and golf. Through these experiences, Will developed a deep understanding of the importance of training in enhancing performance and preventing injuries.
As he progressed in his athletic pursuits, Will gained invaluable knowledge from his mentors, learning how proper training not only boosts strength and mobility but also helps to prevent injury—an essential aspect of any athlete’s journey. These lessons shaped his approach to training, combining a focus on injury prevention with a commitment to improving physical capabilities.
Will began his career of training in 2007 and is certified in a variety of disciplines, including:
- – Certified Functional Strength Coach
- – Performance Enhancement Specialist
- – FRC Mobility Specialist
- – Titleist Fitness Level 2
- – Titleist Performance Coach
- – USAW (Weightlifting) Sports Performance Coach
- – Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach
Will also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and a Master’s in Sports Psychology. His formal education and extensive certification background, paired with his hands-on experience, enable him to create personalized training programs based on sound, evidence-based principles.
In staying true to his own drive to achieve the most he can, Will prides himself on embracing the uncomfortable. He believes that growth happens when we push beyond our limits, and he is committed to helping others do the same. No matter your age, experience, or goals, Will can help you get there. Do you have a bucket list item you’ve always been scared to attempt? Will will guide you to places you never thought possible. For example, one client dreamed of running with the bulls and summiting Mount Kilimanjaro before turning 70. At age 68, he not only accomplished both, but Will was there with him at the summit of Kilimanjaro.
Will’s diverse athletic background, along with his expertise in strength, mobility, and injury prevention, drives his passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals. He believes that with the right guidance, anyone can improve their strength, mobility, and injury resilience, ultimately enhancing their athletic performance and quality of life.
